Designing a public transport planning tool.
Client: Ministry of Transport. 2025
Plan A is a map-based workspace for exploring public transport networks, editing routes, and comparing planning alternatives. I designed the tool for the Ministry of Transport to bring geographic context, service data, and route planning into one interface.
Plan A was designed to help transport planners move from understanding an existing network to evaluating a concrete alternative in a connected workflow.
By bringing maps, service indicators, editing tools, and version history together, the interface supports more informed planning decisions and makes the trade-offs between alternatives easier to inspect.
